Who We Are
The Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) is a university-wide center involving multiple entities within the Harvard community that provide expertise in public health, medicine, social science, management, and other disciplines to promote evidence-based approaches to humanitarian assistance.

Leadership
HHI is led by a faculty Director and receives strategic guidance from a Steering Committee.
Faculty
HHI supports the work of affiliate and associate faculty whose research and work focuses on subjects related to humanitarian response.
Fellows
The Fellows program at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative provides an academic base for leading experts in the field of humanitarian assistance. HHI fellows hold a one year visiting scientist appointment at the School of Public Health.The Fellows bring a wealth of professional experience and knowledge to the learning environment and serve as a valuable resource for HHI’s core programs.
