Gabrielle works with HHI on research projects and case studies related to humanitarian diplomacy and the burden of armed conflict on healthcare delivery. She also works as a Research Associate at the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School. Her research there involves trauma system development and civilian-military interaction in disaster response, with a focus on the Haitian context. She earned an MPH in Quantitative Methods with a concentration in Humanitarian Studies, Ethics, and Human Rights from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and is an MD candidate at the University of California, San Diego, where she is a PRIME - Health Equity scholar.
