Katie joined the ATHA program as a Research Intern for the Fall 2020 semester. Katie provided support for ATHA’s research on investigative processes related to sexual misconduct in humanitarian response settings and contributed to research dissemination activities, such as helping to organize a roundtable event and webinars.

Prior to HHI, Katie spent a year in Austria as a Fulbright Scholar, where she conducted research focused on gender minority health policy within Austria and at the international level. She is interested in international human rights policy, expanding healthcare access among vulnerable populations, and the use of evidence in policymaking.
