Research and Evaluation Manager, Advanced Training Program on Humanitarian Action (ATHA)


Niamh Gibbons is Research and Evaluation Manager for the Advanced Training Program on Humanitarian Action (ATHA) at HHI. Niamh joined the ATHA program after several years overseeing research and evaluation programs at HHI, and researching issues of transitional justice and accountability, particularly related to accountability for sexual and gender-based crimes. Before joining HHI, Niamh carried out research and advocacy on transitional justice issues in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. She led advocacy at the United Nations in New York and managed programming in Uganda for the NGO No Peace Without Justice, and was an associate with the Crimes Against Humanity program Human Rights First in New York. She holds an honors BA in French and Art History from University College Dublin, Ireland.
