Godfred (Kofi) Nyarko is the Program Coordinator for the National NGO Program on Humanitarian Leadership at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.

The Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) partnered with Root Change to conduct a network analysis of actors working to support disaster preparedness and resilience in the Philippines. The study design is modeled after a summative phase external evaluation that HHI conducted in 2016-2017 on the START Network’s Disasters and Emergency Preparedness Program (DEPP).

Saira Khan is a researcher and data analyst at the Signal Program on Human Security and Technology at Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI), where she uses GIS and satellite imagery as tools to analyze damage as a result of conflict and disaster, population displacement, and monitor environmental variability in numerous settings across Sub-Saharan Africa, Bangladesh, and Syria.

Mr. Fabien Dubuet is a French/American national with 20 years of demonstrated experience in international affairs and a successful history of serving in the field of peace and security, humanitarian diplomacy, human rights/IHL and global health with integrity and professionalism.

Katie Bates has had a diverse and exciting professional background. She has over six years working in the publishing industry, six years building and managing professional development programming, and more than twelve years in project management.

Marian is a Research Assistant for the Summer & Fall 2020 semesters at the Signal Program on Human Security and Technology. At the Signal Program, she works on expanding the Signal Code and developing protocols for data protection in humanitarian contexts.

Grace is a Research Assistant for the Summer & Fall 2020 semesters at the Signal Program on Human Security and Technology. At Signal, Grace researches the role of mathematical and computational modeling during historical Ebola outbreaks to inform predictive analysis tools.

Roshni is a Research Assistant for the Summer & Fall 2020 semesters at the Signal Program on Human Security and Technology. At Signal, Roshni works on the Signal Code with a focus on data protection and humanitarian obligations.

Emanuel serves as a Research Assistant for the Summer & Fall 2020 semesters at the Signal Program on Human Security and Technology. At Signal, Emanuel researches the role of conflict in the implementations of health interventions in the 10th Ebola outbreak, with a focus on displacement.
