Dr Nelson is an attending pediatrician and global health faculty member at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. His professional interests are health care provision, development, research, and advocacy for vulnerable populations, particularly newborns and children in settings affected by poverty, conflict, or disast

Stephanie Kayden, MD, MPH, is an emergency physician with a focus on international humanitarian response and leadership. As director of the Lavine Family Humanitarian Studies Initiative at the Humanitarian Academy at Harvard, Dr. Kayden trains students and professionals in global health and humanitarian work.

Dr. Hilarie Cranmer, MD, MPH, the first Director of Disaster Response at the Center of Global Health at Massachusetts General Hospital, the largest teaching hospital of Harvard University, is clinical faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine, and an Assistant Professor at both Harvard Medical School and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Claude Bruderlein is a Senior Researcher at the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University (HPCR) and Strategic Advisor at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Claude founded HPCR in 2000 and served as the Program's Director until 2012. He maintains a faculty research and teaching appointment at Harvard University.
