High Ground: Disaster Risk and Resilience in the Philippines Panel Discussion
The Harvard Humanitarian Initiative and the Asia Center present High Ground: Disaster, Risk, Resilience in the Philippines. The photo exhibition by Aubrey Graham draws on themes of disaster risk, resilience, relocation, and urban community response mechanisms in the Philippines. The images capture the resilience practices undertaken by the two uniquely distinct communities of Sitio Kisplap and Gawad Kalinga. More information about the photo exhibit can be found here.
The accompanying panel discussion will feature Dr. Vincenzo Bollettino, Dr. Patrick Vinck, Kriszia Enriquez, and Aubrey P. Graham. The panel will address elements of the photo exhibition while discussing disaster risks and resilience practices in the Philippines.
