Overview
New, unforeseen and increasingly complex crises highlight the critical role leadership plays in improving and saving lives. The Global Executive Leadership Initiative (GELI) is a new, innovative programme, designed exclusively for leaders across the humanitarian and development sectors. The programme uniquely brings together executive leaders from the United Nations, non-governmental organizations, and the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement to learn together and build a new leadership cadre within the sector. GELI will take leaders on a journey of self reflection and growth to realise their full potential and drive more effective action for people across the globe.
GELI is an independent programme being implemented through a number of partnerships, including HHI. By bringing in leading experts, GELI is offering customized experiential learning and support to an international network of leaders who are currently facing unprecedented global needs.
