DESCRIPTION:<p>	Oropuche virus, previously limited to the Amazon Basin, is now spreading rapidly across the Americas. This talk will explore its epidemiology, clinical features, and the potential risks posed by this emerging pathogen.</p><p>	Leading  this discussion is Dr. Eric Nilles, MD, MSc, Director of the Program on Infectious Diseases and Humanitarian Emergencies at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, also a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine.
