 Ankita Panda graduated with a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2022. At HHI, she served as an intern for the Gender, Rights, and Resilience Program. She is interested in gender policy, with a focus on gender-based violence and sexual reproductive rights within resource-constrained contexts. Ankita has worked with Physicians for Human Rights to conduct research on how to ethically engage survivors of sexual violence in research and M&amp;E. She also supported the World Bank with research around key barriers to implementing current gender laws. Previously, Ankita also helped lead and co-author several gender-focused research studies across the Kennedy School (Carr Center for Human Rights Policy), the Harvard Business School (Social Enterprise Initiative), and MIT D-Lab. She has also previously lived and worked in Mumbai, where she provided capacity building support to help high-potential social enterprises scale their organizations and interventions. Ankita speaks English and Oriya and is conversational in French.
