Cassandra is the program coordinator for the Office of IDEaS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Social Justice) at Brigham & Women's Hospital (BWH) and the Front Line Indigenous Partnership at BWH and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI). In her capacity as program coordinator for the Office of IDEaS, her work focuses on health equity, leading and coordinating several projects that promote for the equity, representation, and safety of patients at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Cassandra coordinates the Ohiyesa Premedical Program (OPP) within the Front Line Indigenous Partnership, which launches in summer 2022 as a year-long longitudinal program designed to engage, support, and promote motivated Native American Tribal and/or community college students interested in pursuing a healthcare career, with a program focus on the physician pathway. She obtained her bachelor’s in public health and psychology from UMASS Amherst. She has a background in program development and implementation, working for several nonprofit organizations as well as the Boston Public Health Commission.
