 Claude Bruderlein is a researcher and instructor specializing in complex negotiation. In 2023, he co-founded Frontline Associates, where he serves as Lead Instructor of a community of practice focused on advancing AI negotiation practices. He holds teaching appointments at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard T. Chan School of Public Health, regularly offering frontline negotiation courses at Harvard, the Geneva Graduate Institute, and the University of Sherbrooke.

 Mr. Bruderlein served as Strategic Advisor to the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) from 2012 to 2023, where he also led research on negotiation practices building on over a decade of field operations for the ICRC and the UN across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, focusing on humanitarian assistance, access, and the impact of sanctions. He authored the first field manual on frontline negotiation and was the founding director of the Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN). He holds degrees from McGill University, the University of Geneva, and Harvard Law School, and is a member of the New York Bar Association.

 Claude will be the leading faculty member for both the professional learning and Master's degree Negotiation courses.
