Ethan is a dual-degree Masters in Public Policy and Masters in Business Administration student at Harvard Kenned School and Harvard Business School. At HHI, he is working on the development of HHI's long-term strategy. After beginning his career in management consulting, Ethan transitioned to the humanitarian sector, first at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where he developed strategies to scale innovative edtech solutions in Colombia and climate resilience efforts in Syria. Most recently, he worked in strategy at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Rome, Italy, where he led teams to advance cross-UN collaborations and internal strategies. His work at the IRC and WFP – including engagements at the field level in Tanzania, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey – has strengthened Ethan’s belief in the importance of on-the-ground perspectives in designing effective interventions. He aspires to advance innovation systems that empower local actors to create better solutions for those experiencing humanitarian crises.
