 Kofi Nyarko is a Research Program Manager at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, where he supports curriculum development and leads impact research to inform the strategic efforts of the National NGO Program on Humanitarian Leadership and the Building a Better Response Program. Kofi also serves as M&amp;E Consultant for the Signal Program on Humanitarian Security, leading monitoring and evaluation activities to promote the integration of spatial methods and analytic tools into early warning and early action (EW/EA) decision making.

 Previously, Kofi served as the Country Director for Mercy Project, overseeing initiatives to protect children from the worst forms of child labor and trafficking. His background also includes experience in health information management, having worked as a Biostatistics Assistant at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and as a Project Assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina.

 Kofi holds a BA in Population and Health from the University of Cape Coast and an MA in International Development Policy with a certificate in Negotiations and Leadership from The University of Chicago.

 Kofi is passionate about the role that NGOs and public policy play in expanding access and opportunities for vulnerable populations. His areas of expertise and interests include program and project management, strategic development, partnership and coordination, community engagement and development, research, monitoring and evaluation, and humanitarian leadership.
