 Heba Mohamed served as a Research Intern for the Signal Program on Human Security and Technology where she was involved in the research and development of the Visual Response Simulator (ViRS), a modeling tool that simulates and visualizes disease outbreaks in humanitarian emergencies.

 Heba graduated from Harvard College with a degree in History of Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy in May 2022. She is passionate about health equity and human rights advocacy. Prior to joining HHI, Heba worked with the Research &amp; Investigations team at Physicians for Human Rights to help monitor and document daily developments in and violations of medical neutrality in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.
