Ibrahim Diakite, PhD, MSc
Infectious Disease Modeler
Ibrahim Diakite is a Senior Scientist in Modeling and Meta-analysis at Open Health Group, the Bethesda office. Dr. Diakite is a mathematician and biostatistician with expertise in mathematical modeling for infectious diseases, Bayesian models, machine learning, and data analytics. In 2013 he received a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington. From 2014 to 2017 he was a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where his research interests focused on developing mathematical and statistical models for Tuberculosis and Ebola virus. Ibrahim also completed in 2017 a MSc in Biostatistics from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He has coauthored several manuscripts published in peer’s review journals on topics including HIV, Tuberculosis, and Ebola virus.
