Sakina Haider

Researcher, Advanced Training Program on Humanitarian Action (ATHA)

Sakina completed her BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford. Following this, Sakina worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group’s (BCG) London office where she was selected to participate in the company’s Social Impact Immersion Program, a program that allowed her to focus her consulting work with NGOs and multilateral clients. This included working with the World Food Programme in Jordan, where she supported the agency in their shift from voucher-based programming to cash transfers for Syrian refugees living in host communities. She also worked with Save the Children across East Asia, supporting the NGO’s country offices in becoming more efficient and effective in their program delivery across both development and humanitarian projects. Sakina is currently completing her Masters in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
