Salome Garnier

Salomé is a research assistant for the Infectious Disease and Epidemics Program (IDEP). She is involved in various IDEP research projects in the Dominican Republic and works primarily on data collection and data management. Previusly, she served as a data science intern with IDEP.

In 2022, Salomé graduated Harvard College where she studied Government with a secondary in Global Health & Health Policy. Her interests include access to healthcare, social determinants of health, public policy and Latin America. Prior to HHI, Salomé spent a couple of months in Chile studying public health at the Universidad de Chile, and worked as a research assistant at Sciences Po university. Currently, Salomé is also working as research assistant for Scholar in Residence Alicia Ely Yamin at the Global Health Education and Learning Incubator.
