Shannon Chun
Shannon is a current MPH candidate in the Global Health field of study at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with an interdisciplinary concentration in Humanitarian Studies, Ethics, and Human Rights. He previously graduated from the University of Toronto with a double major in Physiology and Human Biology before eventually completing his medical degree at Queen's University in Canada. He is based in Toronto, Canada finishing his residency in emergency medicine. His interests in global health lie in disaster preparedness, infectious disease outbreaks, and emergency response. Shannon is completing his MPH practicum at HHI under the supervision of Dr. Albanti measuring social impact and organizational effectiveness for humanitarian organizations. This involves conducting systematic literature review, developing process maps, and summarizing key findings to outline metrics and key
indicators.
