## Description

This project is part of HHI Harvard Scholars at Risk work conducted by [Binalakshmi Nepram](/people/binalakshmi-nepram-mphil) during the academic year 2021-2022, a Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School Carr Center for Human Rights. Bina is focusing on the analysis of World’s Forgotten Conflict Zones and Impact on Indigenous Peoples: A Pilot Study on Small Arms, Drug trafficking and Martial Law in Manipur, Indo-Burma Border. The goal of this pilot project is to conduct an in-depth systematic on the current conflict and human rights violations in the Manipur region in Indo-Burma border as well as other examples of forgotten conflict regions globally and the humanitarian consequences on the lives of indigenous populations.
