Alexa Tovsen, PA

Alexa is an MPH student at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, graduating in May 2024 with a concentration in Women, Gender, and Health. She has been fortunate to complete her MPH Practicum on the Ukraine Trauma Care Response Program with HHI’s Emergency Health Systems team. She has worked as a physician assistant in the emergency department for almost 6 years (the last 2 years at Brigham and Women’s Hospital). She is passionate about providing equitable sexual and reproductive health for vulnerable populations, and has also been working part-time at Planned Parenthood for the past year. She is eager to combine her clinical experience with system-wide approaches for innovation and equity in sexual and reproductive healthcare.
