Hannah Kim
Hannah Kim is a Boston University alum and communications strategist with experience spanning nonprofit, higher education, and brand marketing. She specializes in social media, newsletters, website strategy, and digital community building, with a strong ability to translate complex research and global initiatives into clear, engaging narratives.
Previously, Hannah led communications strategy for Climate Health CAFE, a public health and climate change research coordinating center, and contributed to advocacy-driven communications at the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project, where she supported campaigns focused on privacy, surveillance, and civil liberties. She is excited to bring her storytelling and strategic perspective to the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, supporting its work at the intersection of humanitarian response, public health, and global crisis research.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys cooking, creating new coffee and matcha drinks, and spending time with her two cats, Zuko and Mae, and her dog, Poppy.
