Rodger LeGrand is the Senior Program Manager, Humanitarian Academy Education at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. He focuses on developing learner-centered learning experiences in live, asynchronous, virtual classroom, and hybrid environments. Rodger works closely with HHI’s educational programs, mainly BBR and ENP, and contributes to the plan for HHI’s new Learning Management System. Rodger previously was the Director of Academic Administration and Associate Director of Critical Writing at the University of Pennsylvania and has designed curriculum and taught at MIT. Rodger has several collections of poetry in print including Millions of Ravenous Creatures (Big Table 2016), Seeds (Flutter Press 2017), Two Thirds Water (Flutter Press 2018), and Studies for a Self-Portrait (Big Table 2019). He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Sarah Lawrence College and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the State University of New York.
