Shannon Chun, MD, MPH
Shannon completed his MPH practicum at HHI under the supervision of Dr. Albanti measuring social impact and organizational effectiveness for humanitarian organizations. This involved conducting systematic literature review, developing process maps, and summarizing key findings to outline metrics and key indicators.
In 2021, Shannon graduated with an MPH in the Global Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with an interdisciplinary concentration in Humanitarian Studies, Ethics, and Human Rights. He previously graduated from the University of Toronto with a double major in Physiology and Human Biology before eventually completing his medical degree at Queen's University in Canada. He is based in Toronto, Canada finishing his residency in emergency medicine. His interests in global health lie in disaster preparedness, infectious disease outbreaks, and emergency response.
