Shawn D’Andrea MD, MPH, CEDE, FACEP

Shawn D’Andrea MD, MPH, CEDE, FACEP is a board-certified emergency physician and faculty of emergency medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he serves as the director of the Strategic Collaborations Unit and the Executive Director of the International Emergency Department Leadership Institute.  Dr. D’Andrea is a member of the core faculty of HHI with an interest in the transformation of, and innovations in global health security. With a background in emergency department leadership, he developed a strong interest in health systems strengthening for resource limited settings.  His recent focus of work is the application of digital learning strategies to support capacity and emergency care delivery in humanitarian contexts.
