Carolyn Baer

Carolyn Baer is a global health specialist with over 15 years of experience in developing and leading global health programs focusing on reproductive health needs for women and girls in humanitarian settings as well as implementing infectious disease surveillance and response programs. Carolyn started her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso working as a community health volunteer. From there, she earned her Master’s in Public Health from Tulane University and launched her career working with various USG agencies such as USAID and CDC and non-governmental organizations such as CARE International where she routinely engages with senior level official in both USG and UN agencies and various Ministers of Health to ensure a strong collaboration on strategy and policy development. Carolyn proudly works for Boston Children's Hospital Global Health Program leading strategic partnerships and development and overseeing BCH global programmatic work.
