Emma Willcocks served as an intern for the Gender, Rights, and Resilience Program. Her research lies in the ways that the physical environment impacts health outcomes, with a focus on particulate matter and air pollution exposures. Emma is interested in examining human rights and health risks in communities facing conflict and crisis. She wrote her master’s thesis on the health of global women engaged in small-scale and artisanal mining.
