Emma Willcocks is a second-year Master of Science student in the Environmental Health department at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research lies in the ways that the physical environment impacts health outcomes, with a focus on particulate matter and air pollution exposures. Emma is interested in examining human rights and health risks in communities facing conflict and crisis, and she is writing her master’s thesis on the health of global women engaged in small-scale and artisanal mining.
