Heba Mohamed is a Research Intern for the Signal Program on Human Security and Technology. She is involved in the research and development of the Visual Response Simulator (ViRS), a modeling tool that simulates and visualizes disease outbreaks in humanitarian emergencies.
Heba is a Junior at Harvard College studying History of Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. She is passionate about health equity and human rights advocacy. Prior to joining HHI, Heba worked with the Research & Investigations team at Physicians for Human Rights to help monitor and document daily developments in and violations of medical neutrality in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. Currently, she is also serving as a Research Fellow at the Multi-Aid Programs (MAPs) in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.
