Mrinalini worked as an intern for the Infectious Disease and Epidemics Program (IDEP). She was involved in supporting the implementation and evaluation of home-based care and hygiene interventions for patients recovering from COVID-19 in Honduras. She is passionate about addressing systemic health barriers for immigrant and refugee populations. She is currently a student at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with the Program of Population and Family with a certificate in Public Health and Humanitarian Action.

Prior to joining the HHI team, Mrinalini worked as an AmeriCorps health educator with the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a BS in Global Disease Biology where she supported various research projects as a research assistant for the Plant Pathology Department.
