Ruoyan Zeng graduated in June 2022 with a Master's in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Ruyan served as a graduate research assistant for the Building a Better Response Project during the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters. Previously, she completed an independent honors research project, when she was an undergraduate student at Boston College. The research examined whether story reading can change people’s attitude towards undocumented immigrants in US in direction of empathy. And the results successfully supported the hypothesis for participants who started with neutral attitude scores and negative attitude scores for undocumented immigrants in the US. She deeply cares about social justice and is open to any innovative ideas that could be brought to the world of education.
