Amani Altell, MPH
Amani Altell is the Administrative and Program Coordinator at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative. Having previously worked as the Education Coordinator at the Global Smile Foundation, Amani brings a wealth of experience in managing international educational events and driving impactful capacity-building programs.
A dedicated public health leader, Amani is passionate about reducing health disparities globally, demonstrated through her previous work on projects in Jordan and Indonesia. Her expertise lies in program planning, monitoring & evaluation, and health education, showcasing a strong commitment to shaping the future of healthcare.
Amani holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, where she earned a certificate in Public Health and Humanitarian Action. Her educational journey also includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. During her academic pursuits, Amani actively contributed to projects with Towards an All-Inclusive Jordan and PUSKAPA Indonesia.
