Kelsey Gleason, ScD, MS

Dr. Kelsey Gleason is a public health researcher whose work focuses on reducing health disparities and building resilience for improved health outcomes. Her research incorporates principles of health equity across global health, environmental health, and epidemiology. Dr. Gleason is specifically interested in the nexus of human and environmental health in the context of climate change and food security issues. She currently leads a project investigating the association between diarrheal disease and environmental factors in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. She is also involved in an HHI project that aims to understand food security in conflict. She earned her BS from Cornell University and her MS and ScD from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Vermont. She was a visiting scientist with the Urbanization and Resilience Program.
