Michelle Olakkengil worked with the Program on Gender, Rights, and Resilience. She received her Master of Science in Global Health and Population from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She has experience working on professional projects for governments and non-profit organizations, focused primarily on family planning, maternal and child health, and reproductive health financing. Michelle is passionate about applying evidence-based approaches to complex global challenges. More than this, though, she is committed to continuing to learn how to be a more effective public health practitioner and a more ardent advocate for health equity.
